In Columbus, there are so many fun things to do! This semester, I have chosen to complete the Ice Cream and Desserts list. I am looking forward to trying all the different kinds of desserts that Columbus has to offer. I personally love ice cream, and enjoy getting to try and enjoy many different brands and flavors! I also love getting to try new kinds of desserts that I have never had before. In addition, to get to some of these places I am going to have to take a bus. I am hoping to learn how to use the busing system. I come from an area with no public transportation, so I am hoping to learn how to navigate on my own. I also want to actually go into downtown Columbus and Short North to see what they are like!
The one place that I have been to on this list is Graeter’s Ice Cream. Graeter’s Ice Cream not only sells what in my opinion is the best ice cream on the planet, but also chocolates, candies, and other assorted desserts. When I went for this experience, I got salted caramel ice cream without chocolate chips. I love the ice cream that they make because it has such a deep, rich flavor that cannot be replicated anywhere else. The seating was designed to look like your everyday ice cream parlor, but the ice cream added something greater to the overall atmosphere. If you are an ice cream lover, I would definitely recommend trying out Graeter’s. Granted, I am a bit biased because I have been going to several different Graeter’s since I was little, but there is a reason so many people love to go there. Their ice cream is simply delicious.
