Project Statement
In this project, I was able to focus on a physical space to design. I wanted to create a studio that felt spacious but also had a comforting and cozy quality. Through the use of scale, I was able to make my space appear much larger in comparison to objects like the piano and the desk, in order to make it more cohesive. My goal for this project was to become familiar with the process of visualizing and sketching a physical space. The final outcome shows a two-story studio with a large staircase, fireplace, piano, and a few smaller objects.

Reflection
Overall, this project gave me a much better understanding of perspective and spatial awareness. I was able to develop my drawing and planning skills as well by using new techniques like one-point, two-point, etc. Leading lines are prevalent in the forms to guide the spectator’s eye toward the back of the piece. One challenge I had to overcome was accurately using my grid. I placed my vantage points a little too close together, which made my studio a little distorted towards the front. If I were to redo this assignment, I would place my points much farther apart in order to present a better view of the space. In terms of small details, I would have liked to push myself further in terms of the intricacy of the design
