All projects in REDCap that involve human subjects research must have an approved IRB protocol before collecting real data in a REDCap project (aka “moving a project into production”).
If you want boilerplate language on REDCap to include in a grant application or submission to the IRB, click here.
For citing REDCap in publications or manuscripts, click here.
NOTE: The Scarlet and Gray instances of REDCap have not been validated for compliance with Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11 and may not be used for eConsent and/or electronic data capture in FDA-regulated research or for any other research with requirements for which REDCap at OSU have not been validated.
If your project requires a 21 CFR Part 11 capable instance of REDCap, please contact rit-edc@osumc.edu.
