The REDCap installation at Ohio State includes two primary instances:
- SCARLET – This instance is primarily for projects which require Ohio State University user credentials https://redcap.osumc.edu/.
Currently, access requires Medical Center login credentials (e.g., smi01).
- GRAY – This instance is reserved for projects involving users outside of OSU, such as multi-center/multi-institutional projects, or projects containing non-human subjects research. https://redcap.bmi.osumc.edu/.
Access is a login and password specific to REDCap.
NOTE: OSU’s instances of REDCap have not been validated for compliance with Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11 and may not be used for eConsent and/or electronic data capture in FDA-regulated research or for any other research with requirements for which REDCap at OSU has not been validated.
