The involvement fair which occurred on September 10th 2019, was an focused on showcasing different professional and graduate programs at The Ohio State and in other universities. The fair was located at the Ohio State Union, and it began at 12:30 pm.
As an individual who is planning on going into professional school, this fair was an important source for me to know what qualities will make me a well equipped applicant for Dental School at The Ohio State University or any other university. The fair answered several of my questions related to the course work I will be completing in the upcoming years. My main questions going into the fair were, if I should switch my major, what are the best minor to take as pre-dental student, and how competitive is the application process. Thanks to all of the responses that I received about these questions, I was able to paint a clearer picture of what I should be focusing on going forward in my academics.
The involvement fair for professional and graduate programs helped me have a greater understanding of what is required of me as a dental school applicant. The fair had a strong correlation to my academic, professional, and personal goals because Dental School is one of the main parts of my plan for the future.
