The Neuroscience Graduate Student Organization (NGSO) was officially created in January of 2017 to enhance the experience of graduate students as they move through the NGP program. Our goal is to ensure that each person has a positive and rewarding experience in the program, both in and out of the lab. Our organization hosts monthly happy hours and social events with the NGP faculty. We also work hard to establish professional development resources to help students prepare for life after graduation. Additionally, we partner with NEURO to host outreach opportunities in the greater Columbus community as well as events aimed at educating high school and undergraduate students about careers in science. Finally, we are committed to building a relationship and planning collaborative events with the other IGP programs.
