You must have a parking permit to park anywhere on the campus, except for a few pay garages. A parking permit purchased for summer term is valid for summer term only. Health insurance coverage is required as a Condition of Enrollment at Ohio State for students enrolled at least half-time in eligible classes. A student’s enrollment into the Student Health Insurance Plan is an annual selection. The enrollment selection that the student chooses is binding for the entire academic year, including summer, if they remain enrolled in eligible courses. If you already have comparable health insurance coverage (through parent, spouse, employer, etc.) and do not wish to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must submit an online waiver by the published deadline of your initial term of enrollment each academic year. It is your responsibility to view your online Account Statement at the beginning of each term to ensure that it reflects the appropriate level of Student Health Insurance coverage.
