Welcome! I am an ecohydrologist fascinated with how vegetation and hydrological processes interact, especially under future climate regimes. To explore this question, I use numerical models across scales from a tree to continents, and statistical approaches driven by in situ and satellite remote sensing measurements. I further aim to use this knowledge to address challenges tightly associated with natural resources security and sustainability.
I am looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Ph.D. student starting as early as the fall of 2021. More details can be found here. If interested, please contact me at liu.9367 [at] osu.edu.
