Yue Zhang
Ph.D. Student

Yue comes from China. She received her bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Mapping Engineering from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), and her master’s degree in Natural Disaster from Beijing Normal University. Yue’s research interests lie in ecohydrology, especially in using multi-source data and multi-scale models to study plant-water-carbon interactions.


Shengxi Gui
Graduate Research Assistant
Shengxi is a Ph.D. student in the department of Civil, Environmental, & Geodetic Engineering. He received his bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing Science and Engineering from Wuhan University and his master’s degree from the Ohio State University. Shengxi’s research interest focuses on forest recovery after wildfires by using remotely sensed data.

 

Undergraduate Students

Lauren McIntosh
Lauren is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the School of Earth sciences. She is insterested in addressing societal challenges regarding the sustainability of water resources.

 

 

Claire Sneed
Claire is a third-year undergraduate Earth Sciences student on the Climate, Water, and Environment track. She is interested in researching forest resilience in response to wildfires and droughts. In the future, she hopes to work to protect America’s public lands through environmental interpretation or continued research.
