The goal of preliminary R&D lab 2 was to become familiar with the purpose of the reflectance sensors, run the reflectance sensor test to make sure your sensors are working properly, and write and test a code that involves reflectance sensors.
Secured Reflectance Sensors:
The reflectance sensors are a major part in the AEV. The reflectance sensors tell the programmer how far the AEV traveled. The programmer needs to know how far to program the arduino to run and stop for a certain period of time then run again. The sensors will track the distance made from Columbus to Easton and back to Columbus, etc. If the sensors are not working properly the AEV will not know when to stop or start and how much time between the two it needs to be.
