Join Friday Seasonal Cooking Demo: Plant-Based Recipes
Join Buckeye Wellness and Chef and Culinary Educator Katie McCurdy for a lunch-and-learn program featuring plant-forward recipes via Zoom at noon Friday, Sept. 25. We know that trying to figure out how to make meals healthier can be exhausting; this program will delve into practical ways to incorporate more plant-based ingredients, while still enjoying every minute of your food experience. Get an annual Flu Shot
Getting a flu shot can reduce flu severity and prevent hospitalizations, and we encourage all benefits-eligible Faculty and Staff to take advantage of one of the following flu vaccination options available:
• Visit your Primary Care Provider (PCP). You can make an appointment now with your PCP at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, Central Ohio Primary Care (accepting appointments now for a PCP visit or a drive-through flu shot), or other in-network health care providers who are now scheduling flu appointments. Medical Center and Health Sciences Faculty and Staff can attend a scheduled flu blitz Make an appointment to get your flu shot at an upcoming Ohio State Wexner Medical Center flu shot blitz now. OIA Photography Competition Open
The Office of International Affairs is now accepting submissions to the annual international photography competition. All students, staff, faculty, visiting scholars and alumni are eligible to participate!
Entries will be accepted through October 6 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Our categories are People, Places and Arts & Culture. There will also be People’s Choice awards for the photos that receive the highest votes via the Facebook voting phase.

Share your love for wellness and inspire your colleagues! Ohio State’s Buckeye Wellness Innovator (BWI) program seeks faculty and staff for its September 2020 cohort. You will receive training, tips, suggestions and opportunities to coordinate and attend special events. Mindfulness in Motion Program Registration Is Open
Mindfulness in Motion is an eight-week evidenced-based program that teaches you the tools to combat burnout while increasing your resiliency and overall quality of life through mindfulness. Faculty and staff are formally invited to participate in the upcoming resiliency sessions for health care professionals, set to begin the last week of September, sponsored by Gabbe Health and Wellness.
