This interactive workshop is available virtually to all managers and staff. Space for the workshops is limited so please register via zoom to attend with the links below. The Office of the Chief Wellness Officer has converted its Stay Calm and Well in the Midst of the COVID-19 Storm webinar series and invites you and your child(ren) to join a six-week webinar series beginning Wednesday, June 24 at 10 a.m. This series will be delivered by Ohio State students from the Colleges of Nursing and Education and Human Ecology and is aimed at educating children (aged 10-14) on strategies and skills building tips to ease stress and anxiety. The Caregiving Crisis during COVID-19 Thursday, June 11 3 – 4:15 pm
The disruptions of COVID-19 and the stay-at-home period are likely to disproportionately impact women’s job stability and pay, time, personal health, and access to childcare, increasing gender inequities. Join The Women’s Place and President and Provost’s Council on Women (PPCW) for a virtual panel focusing on the challenges of working and caring for children, elders, and others during the pandemic. Learn more about the gendered impact of caregiving, access to providers, alternative care options, the logistics of restarting schools and programs, local resources and more. The webinar is open to people of all genders.
