Practice Sun Safety |
Taking steps to protect yourself from the sun is important. It helps you avoid sunburn and decrease your risk of skin cancer. To prevent overexposure: stay in the shade (especially between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.); wear clothes that cover your skin, a hat and UV-blocking sunglasses; avoid indoor UV tanning beds; and make sure to apply sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher every day.
