Here are listed links and other information on lexica and dictionaries useful for the diachronic study of Greek.
Romaic almost became an established term. Most dictionaries and grammars of spoken Greek published in the west during the Ottoman centuries call the vernacular language lingua Graeca vulgaris or Graeco-barbarica. But in many of the dictionaries of this period, if you look up Graeco-vulgar words in the Latin sections inside, they are “translated” as Romaio-something, even for the name of the language. Graeca in Latin is translated as romaiika in the column for Graeco-barbarica.
