This lab was planned to be an oral presentation about how much is completed throughout the time it has been. The instructors decided to change this lab and come up with a new lab design. The lab which was now known as the AEV energy model lab, this was designed to test the AEV’s performance in regards to the forces produced by the propellers, compared to the friction force that is on the AEV. This will let the team calculate a net force to see how well the AEV design will perform under that net force.
The team concluded that this AEV model, compared to the class average was very good. the net forces came out to be, 4.3,10.9, and 6.6 gram-force. This also allowed the team to conclude a marks error with the distance it traveled on the monorail track. The team’s mark error came out to be 2 marks. This allowed the team to see the efficiency of the vehicle under the forces that were given.
