We will be testing weight distribution with two different designs, our team’s design and another team’s design. We will hang each design on the track and take a picture of the front of the AEV to observe the weight distribution from left to right; we will also use a level to measure the exact weight distribution of each AEV front to back and left to right. We will repeat this process but instead taking a picture from the side to see how the AEV is balanced from front to back.

Takeaways
The other team’s AEV had mediocre front-to-back weight distribution but lacked good left-to-right distribution. Our AEV is balanced near perfectly left to right, and front-to-back balance is pretty good, better than that of the other team’s AEV. This is most likely due to the use of the center-mounted, T-shaped support arm which makes the front-to-back balance better despite the appearance of more weight in the back of the AEV.
