Meeting #20

Time: 3:00 pm

Members Present: All

Objectives:

Today we will continue conducting tests for our third aR&D study as well as complete the third progress report.

Upcoming Tasks:

Testing for the third aR&D study is now complete; we also put together a graph of our results, which will be added to the website later.  We also finished most of the third progress report; some minor revisions and tune-ups will be done outside of class.  At our next meeting, we will begin to perfect and test our AEV’s code for the final performance test, which is next week.  We will also begin to look at the final presentation draft.

Meeting #21

Date: 4 April 2019

Time: 3:55 pm

Members Present: All

Objectives:

Today we will work on the poster draft for our final presentation.  We also spent a great deal of time working on the code for our AEV’s final performance test.

Upcoming Tasks:

We completed our poster draft in full.  However, we had some AEV troubles and had to get a new AEV controller.  This took a significant chunk, but afterward, we were able to make some good progress on the final performance test code.  This will be the primary focus for the upcoming meetings.

Meeting #22

Date: 8 April 2019

Time: 3:00 pm

Members Present: All

Objectives:

Today our sole focus is to prepare the AEV for the final performance test by perfecting its code.

Upcoming Tasks:

We made some progress with our performance test code, but we encountered a possible overheating problem with one of the motors.  We will try to correct the problem, as well as make more progress with our code, later today during a supplemental meeting.

Meeting #23

Date: 8 April 2019

Time: 6:30 pm

Members Present: All

Objectives:

This meeting is a supplemental meeting – we need extra time to complete our performance test code, so we are taking advantage of an offered extra meeting time.  We will continue to work on our performance test code.

Upcoming Tasks:

We successfully completed our final performance test! Unfortunately, we were not able to have it graded since this was a supplemental meeting.  We will do that on Wednesday, and we will probably have to modify the code again because we will be in a different classroom.

Meeting #24

Date: 10 April 2019

Time: 3:00 pm

Members Present: All

Objectives:

Today we will have our final performance test graded.  We may have to modify the code as we previously completed the test in a different room.

Upcoming Tasks:

We completed one run of the performance test, which was successful.  We will have to complete at least one more run tomorrow.

Meeting #25

Date: 11 April 2019

Time: 3:55 pm

Members Present: All

Objectives:

Today we will have the second run of our performance test graded.  The first run yesterday was successful.

Upcoming Tasks:

Unfortunately, neither the second nor third run of our performance test was completely successful, although we are satisfied with our grade.  On Monday, we will turn in our AEV kit, wrap up work on our poster, and begin to work on our Critical Design Review.

Meeting #26

Today we will turn in our AEV kit, finish our poster, and prepare for our presentation.  We will also begin work on our CDR if we have additional time.
