Background

Purpose

The purpose of this challenge is to design an efficient vehicle that can be used around the city of Columbus. The testing locations are Easton and Polaris malls. The goal is to have the vehicle move on a track, stop at designated stopping point, pick up passengers/cargo, and return to starting location.

Constraints

  1. $500,000 budget
  2. AEV must move forward and backwards along a single track
  3. AEV must use Li-PO batteries as energy supply
  4. There must be a two inch clearance between Arduino and caboose
  5. Arduino cannot be place vertically
