ODI Annual Career Exploration Series

2024 Graduate Faculty Mentorship Award Nominations are now open

For this award, students are asked to write a nomination letter describing the mentorship they received from faculty. In the nomination letter, they can share impactful mentoring stories, describe how their mentor helped them feel a sense of belonging, empowered them to upskill their future resiliency, or supported networking for their future growth and employment opportunities. Nominations are accepted from February 1-29, 2024.

Nominations are accepted from presently enrolled graduate and professional students or from alumni of any of your graduate programs. Nominating a graduate faculty member for the GFMA is a great way for students and alumni to recognize their faculty mentor’s contributions to their academic and professional development.

Hosted by the EHE Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC). Please join Dr. Anastasia Snyder, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the College of Education and Human Ecology, for a conversation about navigating the negotiation process when job searching. Attendees will have the opportunity to have their questions directly answered by Dr. Snyder who has experience on both sides of the negotiation process as an employee and as an employer. This meeting will be recorded and provided to those who request via the registration link.
