First Friday Important Deadlines: August 23

• If dropping a class, the First Friday is the last day to receive a 100% refund for Autumn Semester and Session 1 courses
• Last day to add a full semester or session 1 course without instructor’s written permission
• The First Friday is the last day for a student to enroll into a full semester or session 1 class using online registration.

Autumn 2024 Graduation Application Open Now

If you have questions about this process, be sure to attend the Final Semester: Your Guide to Graduate Workshop. Designed for students who are in their final semester of their academic program. This workshop will explain the process and procedures for entering this exciting time! Both workshops will be held virtually and will take place on September 5 at 3 p.m. and September 24 at 1:30 p.m.

2024 Alumni Grants for Graduate Research and Scholarship are Open

Post-candidacy doctoral or terminal research degree candidates are eligible to apply. A terminal research degree program is defined as a degree program that:

• Requires a minimum of 60 graduate credit hours, and
• Is designed to take three or more years to complete, and
• Produces original research or scholarly work that culminates in a dissertation or dissertation-level work

Final application materials must be submitted as one single combined PDF document. The final application packet can be emailed directly to grad-schoolfellowships@osu.edu by September 25, 2024, at 5 p.m. Any submission received after the deadline or containing multiple files will not be considered.

Hosted by the Ohio Union Activities Board. Buckeye Kickoff is an Ohio State tradition you do not want to miss. Join your fellow Buckeyes in Ohio Stadium to enjoy and experience Buckeye Spirit. With many speakers, cheers and songs this event will be able to kick off your Ohio State experience. The program will feature athletes, The Ohio State University Marching Band and much more. There will also be an opportunity for you to take photos on the field! Pre-activities at 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Event Starts at 6 p.m. (total event time one hour). This event is open to all students, especially our first and second year Buckeyes! Attendance is limited to current Ohio State University students with a valid BuckID.
