Welcome to the The Ohio State University College of Medicine! Starting a new role as a faculty member can be daunting, but the Office of Faculty Affairs and Center for FAME (Faculty Advancement, Mentoring and Engagement) is here to help you along your journey. From getting connected with other faculty members, working with mentors, developing your leadership skills, navigating the promotion and tenure process, or improving your teaching skills, we are here to help you get the most out of your career here at the College of Medicine.
Start here!
In addition to the Wexner Medical Center and Ohio State Orientation sessions, we also encourage new College of Medicine faculty to attend a New Faculty Academy workshop, held once in the Spring and once in the Fall. This in-person event provides an opportunity for new faculty to meet and hear from College of Medicine leaders and learn about available resources to help you achieve your career goals.
Date: October 21, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
