The Ohio State University is a large matrixed organization with many resources to help. However, some of these things can be hard to find. Below are some of the most common resources to help you with developing or designing your curriculum and courses, or improving your teaching skills.
The College of Medicine Center for FAME presents a variety of programs that promote educator skill development through reflection, peer observation, large group learning and faculty learning communities.
Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning
The Michael V. Drake Institute coordinates and leads activities focused on improving the learning experience for students. The overall purpose of the institute is to integrate and enhance teaching and learning efforts at Ohio State.
The Office of Curriculum and Scholarship (OCS)
The College of Medicine Office of Curriculum and Scholarship collaborates with faculty to design, develop, and/or assess education programs or materials to engage and empower learners.

Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI)
OTDI provides technology resources and education to the Ohio State community. A fantastic resource for technical assistance by chat, phone, or submit a ticket to the university IT Service Desk.
Teaching and Learning Resource Center
The Teaching and Learning Resource Center, a partnership with units from across the university, is a website for Ohio State educators seeking to enhance their teaching skills and support student success. Browsing the site, you’ll find teaching and learning strategies and examples, learning opportunities from across the university, and extensive documentation on Ohio State’s eLearning toolset.
The Digital Accessibility Center is dedicated to supporting Ohio State’s core values of diversity and inclusion, by honoring and celebrating differences through improving digital access. Through our staff and our services, we aim to support the campus community in furthering the goal of providing equal access to campus programs and activities for people with disabilities and learning differences.
