What exactly is qualitative research? Is it really a respected and acceptable approach to research? Qualitative approaches have become increasingly important to health professions educational research. During this active workshop, participants will learn about the scope, purpose, and importance of qualitative research as well as the different approaches to gaining thick, rich understandings of phenomena.
