Meeting 9

Date: April 04, 2018

Location: Hitchcock Hall 224

Purpose: Continue creating the final code to be used in the AEV for Final Performance Test.

Team Members Present:

– Nina Moore

– Jacob Ryan

– Ravvin DeArmond

– Mason France

During the meeting:

– The team began testing and tweaking new parts added to their AEV’s code to bring back the caboose once it attaches to the AEV. However, the team ran into a couple problems but was still able to make progress along the way.

  • Mason and Nina continued to add more code and test out new codes for the AEV.
  • Ravvin and Jacob discussed ways to make sure the AEV always hit its mark.
  • Nina realized that the AEV never actually landed in the same spot whenever the test was ran.
  • TA recommends we check and see if the ticks used to calculate the absolute position match up to where the arduino runs another code by using an “if.. Then..” code statement during a practice run.
