Advanced Research and Development 3: Findings

Findings

Group L found that they need to make an AEV uses a certain amount of voltage in order to run the code downloaded into the Arduino while also decreasing the amount of voltage of the battery after each run. Group L also found that it is best to have a propeller configuration that is parallel to each other and perpendicular to its base.

How are the Findings Supported

The Battery Test experiment showed Group L in Figure 3, that after each run the battery loses a small amount of Voltage depending on what code is being run. In Figures 1 and 2 it shows how much Voltage is being use during what line of code the arduino is currently running. As for the Propeller Configuration experiment, the “x – axis” configuration used slightly less power than the “Up” configuration but was able to go farther during the same set of time.

How to Make the AEV More Marketable

Based off the data collected from the Battery Test and Propeller Configuration experiments, Group L will be able to create a Design and code that is not only energy efficient, but will hallow faster transportation for the caboose for the final product.
