WICL-5 (2020) as a synchronous webinar conference!
The 5th Workshop on Innovations in Cantonese Linguistics (WICL-5) — organized by a cohort of faculty, students and staff at The Ohio State University — will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 18-19 April 2020. See the Program schedule. While WICL-5 is free and open to the public, registration is required. Please fill out the registration form below if you plan to attend any of the sessions. Your registration is needed to set up the registration through the Zoom webinar. (Note: This online registration form is not linked directly to Zoom; hence, registrants will be processed in Zoom separately, from time to time, after which you will receive an invitation from the Zoom webinar to register in Zoom.)
Please register early to facilitate our e-paperwork. This registration form will also provide us with an estimated head count for the various sessions to assist us in planning this event. Thanks!

Platform: We will be using the Zoom webinar platform for this conference. We recommend that you download the latest Zoom software/application instead of using your web browser. Be sure to test and connect to your computer audio upon joining the webinar. (Attendees will have opportunity to ask their questions orally.) Please make sure that you register below for this webinar conference, and be sure to use the same first name, last name, and email address to attend the WICL-5 webinar sessions.
Note: A few people have encountered an error message in trying to submit their filled-out registration form: “There was a problem with your submission. Errors are marked below. It appears like this submission might be a spam. Please try submitting form again.” If using a different web browser still results in the same error message, please email us at <wicl5.2020gmail.com> with a screenshot of the webpage (e.g., in jpeg or png, and be sure the entries are legible), and we will try to input your registration information from our end.
