The areas of responsibility are apportioned at 52.5% Teaching/Advising, 7.5% Program Coordination, 20% Scholarship, and 20% Service. Responsibilities:

  • Instruction/Student Advisement (52.5%) – The candidate filling this position will be expected to teach the equivalent of 12 credit hours per semester at the graduate level within the Ed.S. programs. Instructional responsibility includes teaching online courses to post-master’s-level candidates. Student advisement includes onboarding new graduate students, guiding students through the program, monitoring student progress, supporting accreditation data collection, and administering comprehensive exams.
  • Program Coordination (7.5%) – The candidate filling this position will serve as the Program Coordinator for the Ed.S. degree programs: Education Administration, Education Innovation & Leadership, and Leadership in Reading. Coordination responsibilities include:
    • Creating and managing the course schedule.
