Responsibilities include teaching mathematics methods courses for prospective early and middle childhood teachers (grades 4 to 9). Also includes teaching graduate level mathematics education courses and undergraduate and graduate courses related to teaching in diverse classrooms. Assisting in masters and doctoral student advising and engaging in scholarship and service focused on supporting Latinx students in educational settings.

The School of Education at the University of Cincinnati seeks an Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction. This position requires teaching, research, and service in upper-elementary or middle childhood mathematics education, and in preparing teachers for diverse classrooms. The position will support UC School of Education diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice goals.  Candidates with experience and research in support of Latinx students and the Latinx community are strongly encouraged to apply.
