Assistant Professor Reading/Literacy Education

East Tennessee State University is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Reading/Literacy Education. This position will teach on-site and online courses in K-12 reading education and ESL add-on endorsement including such courses as literacy instruction in diverse classrooms; ESL literacy methods; ESL history, practices, and assessment; reading in the middle and secondary grades; psychology of reading; and diagnosis and remediation in reading. Responsibilities also include advising undergraduate and graduate students; conducting research; and participating in departmental, college, and university service. Program development and coordination, advising, and cohort development.
