The successful candidate will be required to teach a variety of Education courses such as Curriculum and Instruction, Human Growth and Development, Methods in Teaching, Developmental and Diagnostic Reading, Classroom and Behavior Management, Current Issues in Education, Research Methods, and other like courses. Additionally, successful candidates are expected to advise undergraduate, masters and doctoral level Education majors and hold office hours. The successful candidate is also expected to contribute to the scholarly advancement of the department through a productive research agenda that includes grantsmanship. Candidates should demonstrate dedication to the progress of the Education Department, the School of Liberal Arts and Education, and to the University as a whole, through service activities.
