Instructor in Curriculum and Instruction
Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas invites applications for a full-time, Instructor Position in the Teaching and Educational Leadership Department (formerly Curriculum and Instruction) within the College of Education and Health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach a variety of undergraduate courses (face-to-face and online). Effectively advise students.
- Assist students in applying learned concepts into professional K-12 practice.
- Possess knowledge of and experience with the American public school culture.
- Engage students in high impact learning practices and model appropriate learning strategies for use by preservice teachers.
- Provide impactful departmental, college, university, and professional service relevant to the university, community, and state.
- Collaborate with faculty and public school partners in the development, review, assessment, and maintenance of programs and curriculum.
- Assist in promoting programs and recruiting students.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the department head.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with faculty, interns/field-based participants, and school partners.
