Aquinas College is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Education.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate literacy education courses as well as courses within the assistant professor’s area of expertise. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester where each course is 4 credits. Opportunities for summer contracts to teach additional courses will also be available. This position will be responsible for maintaining oversight to ensure literacy program coherence among full-time and adjunct instructors and evaluating transfer courses related to the program.

Related responsibilities include maintaining office hours, advising and mentoring students, scholarly research (especially that which engages students in research experience), student outreach, and developing and maintaining competence with web-assisted teaching technology.
