Visiting Professor of Science Education
The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education at Ohio University invites applications for a visiting, non-tenure track Professor of Science Education position in the Department of Teacher Education. The successful candidate will join a team of educators who maintain productive programs of teaching, scholarship, and service. Candidate will also show a clear commitment to excellence in teaching and working with diverse student populations as well as working collegially with faculty and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and in diverse settings. Position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate science education and general education courses (elementary, middle, and secondary education); advising masters and doctoral students; engaging in science and STEM education program development and scholarship; and engaging in the boundary-spanning fieldwork that is central to the Patton College’s Clinical Model of teacher education. Anticipated position start date January 10, 2022.
