This is a picture I took in my photography class at Ohio State for a project. It is of a flower in front of one of the dorms and I liked it because the background is blurred with a focus on the flower. I selected this artifact because I wanted to chose a picture from my photography class since that is one of my most creative classes and this is one of my favorite pictures I have taken. From this project, I learned how to shoot manually with my camera and how to adjust the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to fix the lighting and focus. This class has been a lot of fun because I have been able to learn how to use my camera properly. Photography has become one of my favorite hobbies and I will continue to do it beyond the classroom.
