About Me

Hi.

I am William Wallace Shoaf and the driving force in my life is to help others to the best of my abilities so that they may be able to live their lives just a little bit easier. I attended St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio where I learned to challenge myself in academics, responsibility, and, most importantly, in striving for the MAGIS( the “more”). I have striven and I always will strive to devote myself to a cause greater than myself in everything I do; whether I am helping create music through playing the cello, leading and helping choreograph dance performances at venues such as Columbus’s BalletMet,  or even teaching young children core life values and skills through the game of golf I always am trying to find the best way that I can help others.

Currently a first-year student at The Ohio State University in the Honors program, I am in majoring in Biology with a Pre-Med intent. Eventually, I hope to have gained the skills necessary to work in the ER or overseas in either third-world countries or with the military in order to have an immediate, direct impact on the lives around me. Through medicine, I can help others heal so that they can be at their fullest potential. When a person becomes injured, their hopes and dreams may be cut down like a tree,  I want to help them regrow their strength so that they may once again have a chance at fulfilling their passions in their path to happiness.
