We are pleased to announce the release of the National Study of Caregiving (NSOC) Time Diary final data files. In NSOC III, a 24-hour time diary was administered by telephone to caregivers who provided assistance to an older adult in the last month. This data release contains the time diary file as well as a summary file that includes time diary eligibility variables and summary information about the diary day.
These data are available under our sensitive data procedures; the application can be accessed at https://www.nhatsdata.org/Home/ResDataFiles. Documentation, including a time diary user guide, can be found at https://www.nhats.org.
- Annual CCTS Scientific Meeting Set for December 3rd
Ohio State’s Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS), along with pediatric partner Nationwide Children’s Hospital, will host its seventh Annual Scientific Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Ohio Union. This year’s theme is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Translational Science and Human Health. Join experts in artificial intelligence and machine learning for talks, facilitated breakout sessions, poster viewing, funding opportunities and networking.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Christopher Austin, director of the National Center for Advancing Translational Science at the National Institutes of Health. Learn complete details and register to attend.
