College of Nursing Handbooks

The PhD in Nursing Handbook is the governing document for our PhD in Nursing program.  It is strongly recommended you read the handbook for your respective program from front-to-back and be clear on the important information contained in this document.

The 2025-2026 handbook will be made available prior to the start of the autumn semester. You will be emailed a link to the handbook when it has been finalized. Students are held to the standards included in the handbook for the year they entered the program. Students will be notified of any change in the handbook or program policy and have the right to maintain the standards as listed in the handbook they year they entered the program.

Post-baccalaureate students who choose to pursue a master’s degree in the College of Nursing while completing their PhD will be held to additional standards specific to the master’s program. These policies are included in the MS in Nursing handbook. Students who elect to earn a master’s degree from the college are responsible for the information contained in this handbook, as well. The 2025-2026 copy will be shared electronically once it is available.
