Congratulations on your admission the The Ohio State University College of Nursing’s PhD program! We are honored that you have chosen to pursue your graduate degree with us. The journey ahead is full of excitement, challenges and growth. We are here to support you each step of the way.
In order to be adequately prepared to begin the PhD program this autumn, please review the information on the site thoroughly. The site is designed to provide you with important information you need to know as a new graduate student in the College of Nursing. More information will be shared with you as the autumn semester approaches. Use the “New Student To Do List” to ensure you have completed the necessary requirements prior to the start of the program.
If you were admitted as a Graduate Intra-University Transfer, your acceptance will not be reflected on BuckeyLink and you will be unable to register for classes or access Beacon until you have been reactivated by the Graduate School. This process can take up to four weeks from the acceptance deadline. If you still cannot enroll after that time, please reach out to your Graduate Program Manager.
In addition to Transformation Day, we will also be hosting PhD Orientation on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Please plan on participating in this in-person event from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (times are tentative). The purpose of orientation is to start framing your research plan, meet with your advisor and fellow students, and learn more about what to expect from the program. Attendance is required. Please email Megan Celik if you have extenuating circumstances that will prevent you from attending.
If you have any questions about the information contained in this site, please email Megan Celik, the Program Manager, at email@example.com for assistance. You can also learn a little bit more about me and my role by clicking the link below!
