Director of Talent Strategy at JobsOhio
John Sherwood serves as Director of Talent Strategy at JobsOhio, Ohio’s private economic development corporation. John leads JobsOhio’s strategic talent investments, assisting Ohio companies in JobsOhio’s ten priority sectors through investments that increase talent pipelines. Prior to working at JobsOhio, John served in the Ohio Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, where he led the DeWine-Husted Administration’s programming focused on developing tech talent and efforts to improve data-sharing and technology assets for the benefit of Ohio’s companies, workers, and students. John’s background also includes several roles at Columbus State Community College in enrollment management, experiential learning, and customized training. John has a Bachelors from Ohio University and an MBA from Ohio Dominican University.
