Vice President and Program Director at Woolpert
Thomas Mackie is an Aviation Program Director with Woolpert and is responsible for leading the direction of Woolpert’s Aviation Market by supporting his team and clients by implementing programs that incorporate emerging geospatial and operational technologies and applications to aviation-focused programs. Over his 25 years’ of working in the architectural and engineering industry, Tom has worked extensively on data development and system deployment across the aviation industry spectrum including the FAA, public and private airports, state DOTs, heliports, the US Military, airport consultants, land developers, and research organizations. His most recent endeavor has been the integration of UAS and AAM-related technology to the aviation industry, growing capabilities, and solutions both internally to Woolpert as well as for the FAA and individual airports across the country. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Thomas received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering one in Geodetic Science. He is a proud Clevelander, a Vice President of the firm, and a licensed Professional Surveyor in the great State of Ohio.
