While listening to Scott’s video presentation I was informed on a lot of information that I was clueless about prior. When it comes to my unversity work online, I learned that the websites that are free services and ask to use “cookies” are really selling my data, to manipulate me. Although it is free, there is still a price. Scott has also brought to my attention the third party blockers and tracking that is being done on me. The lack of online sercurity is a big issue, thankfully I can implement the tips and advice given to me by Scott when it comes to online security, such as enabling 2 factor logins, using passphrases and the application of ‘Duck duck go’ .
