QI-Hub

The Need:

There is a disconnect between existing College of Medicine (COM) resources and population-level improvement, especially health equity.

The Solution:

The QI Hub is a statewide effort supported by the Ohio Department of Medicaid and the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). OSU is one of 6 participating COMs. The team is working to establish QI infrastructure and collaborate between COMs to leverage the impact of existing resources to achieve population-level improvements, especially health equity-focused based on each region’s needs.QI Hub logo in the state of Ohio

OSU QI Hub has three main goals:

  1. Create QI Training System housed within the College of Medicine​​
  2. QI Operational Infrastructure within our system and beyond (OSU + Regional partners)​​
  3. QI Project​ – Hypertension Management in Primary Care
