Cultivating Augmented Resilience-Building Efforts and Systems for Transitions, Rehabilitation, Education, Access and Maintenance (CARESTREAM)
CARESTREAM is an amalgamation of projects focused on quality improvement, student development, and rehabilitation across multiple healthcare settings.
The overarching theme of CARESTREAM’s mission is to reduce:
- falls
- frailty
- functional decline
CARESTREAM works alongside healthcare settings at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in locations such as University Hospitals, main Emergency Department, and Dodd Hall Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital to support internal departmental initiatives by leveraging health science students. This synergy is a valuable opportunity for students to gain healthcare exposure while also contributing to system level needs.
