Tokyo Universities

Universities we visited

In this post, I will talk about the three universities that we visited during our stay in Tokyo.

1) Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology:

Visiting this university first had really set the scene. Walking around the campus was breathtaking and I was amazed by everything that my eyes saw that day. The campus was surrounded by big, beautiful trees that were really a perfect way to beat the summer heat. The trees provide shade and breeze that cools us down. My favorite thing about this university was the pond. There was a large pond on campus that was filled with many fish. The students and the teachers that we met at this university were some of the nicest people. I still remember the games that we played and the matcha kit kat that I had that day. I also made my first Japanese friends at this university and it still amazes me how fast we connected with each other.

2) Azabu University:

Azabu university was the second university that we visited and the two days that we spent there are something that I will never forget. The first day we got a warm welcome and learned about the university. The students there did presentations about topics or interests that they liked and seeing how much work and time that they have put to make their presentation flawless was incredible. The second day there was one of the funniest day ever because we had to dissect fish. I did not mind the experience but it was hilarious watching my friends get grossed out by the whole process. The friends that we made at this university became close friends to all of us and we hung out many times throughout our stay.

3) Tokyo University of Agriculture:

The third university we visited was Tokyo University of Agriculture. We did not spend as much time at this university as we did in the last two universities. We met nice and kind people at this university and the campus was also beautiful. They had some amazing cafeterias that had a lot of food options. I remember I had a delicious bowl of ramen at one of their cafeterias. The food was nutritious and very inexpensive, something we do not have here at OSU. I also remember I had a yummy smoothie and this stuck to me because usually I do not like smoothies and I wish I had asked for the recipe.
