ACT Day on OSU campus!
October 22nd between 7:40am and 1pm, Westland High School students completed their ACT Requirement for entrance into the IMPACT project. To congratulate them, the IMPACT project hosted a brief afternoon of fun for the 20 students! The celebration included a pizza party and a personal tour of OSU’s Thompson Library after the students took the ACT that morning. The resulting scores will be a large determiner in the students’ eligibility to participate in the IMPACT project this upcoming spring. The project will focus on the medical interpretation field for heritage speakers, providing the students a great opportunity to learn and earn money while going to college.
