Space reservation

Please use the form below to request the use of the first floor research flex space, the simulation lab, the ADL lab, or the instructional kitchen in Atwell Hall.

Scheduling process for simulation and ADL labs

  • Pre-semester requests will be solicited approximately 3 months ahead of the semester start date to create a calendar of teaching and learning activities for the simulation and ADL spaces.
    • for this priority scheduling, please use the form below created to include the details of each request sent to each program with a deadline for priority reservations.
  • Teaching and learning requests will be considered after the priority deadline by the Sim/ADL operations committee and the room calendar will be populated with the requests.  Confirmation of the reservations will be sent to the contact person listed in the form.
  • The calendar will then be released to all HRS users using an Outlook calendar.
  • For other requests to use the space, fill out the form to make the request, please check to see if the space is available on the Outlook calendar.

Prioritization of Requests

  • Teaching and Learning, Active learning, and Interprofessional Education are prioritized for the space through the on-line reservation form submitted by each program in HRS each semester.
  • The open Outlook calendar appointments will also allow for reservations of the spaces to be used for:
    • Make-up/remediation
    • Research
    • Recruitment and other activities
