Congratulations on your admission the The Ohio State University College of Nursing’s MS in Nursing Graduate Entry program! We are honored that you have chosen to pursue your graduate studies with us. The journey ahead is full of excitement, challenges and growth. We are here to support you each step of the way.
In order to be adequately prepared to begin the Graduate Entry program this summer, please review the information on the site thoroughly. The site is designed to provide you with important information you need to know as a new graduate student in the College of Nursing.
The Graduate Entry Orientation will be held online on 4/30/25. The Orientation is required.
Several of the compliance requirements will not be available until later in the semester. This includes drug screens, computer based learning modules, and IHIS modules. More information will be shared with you as the summer semester approaches. Use the “GE Compliance To Do Lists 2025-2026″ document to ensure you have completed the necessary requirements prior to the start of the program and to verify when compliance items will be available for completion.
If you were admitted as a Graduate Intra-University Transfer, your acceptance will not be reflected on BuckeyLink and you will be unable to register for classes or access Beacon until you have been reactivated by the Graduate School. This process can take up to four weeks from the acceptance deadline. If you still cannot enroll after that time, please reach out to your Graduate Program Manager.
Please take a moment to review the academic calendar, which you can find here. It’s a helpful resource with important dates for all university students, including the first day of classes, registration deadlines, the final exam schedule, and more!
If you have any questions about the information contained in this site, please email me, your Program Manager, for assistance. You can also learn a little bit more about me and my role by clicking the link below!

College of Nursing Scholarships
Thanks in large part to generous private donors, the College of Nursing has a number of scholarships available to our students currently enrolled in one of the college’s degree granting programs. Some of these are need-based and require completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline. Continuing students are invited to submit the scholarship application to be considered for need-based and/or merit-based scholarships. These funds are limited and preference is given to full-time, degree-seeking students who are continuously enrolled. Students exclusively enrolled in a pre-major or certificate program are not eligible to apply for these opportunities.
Directions for students:
- Log in to ScholarshipUniverse using your Ohio State username (lastname.#) and password.
- Take the time to answer questions about yourself to build your profile. By integrating data from your admissions application, student record and self-reported information, ScholarshipUniverse will match you with scholarship opportunities.
- Once you are matched to a scholarship, follow prompts to complete the College of Nursing Scholarship Application.
The scholarship application will be open March 7-June 20,2025 on ScholarshipUniverse.
