In order to extend the life of your Proteus and its accompanying equipment, and to avoid possible fees at the end of the semester, please adhere to the following:
Proteus Care:
- Do not remove the screen protector from the face of the Proteus if your screen has one.
- Do not put Velcro on the faces of the Proteus with the screen or motor ports.
- Do not take apart the Proteus.
- Do not drop the Proteus, as the acrylic case is not shatterproof.
- Do not leave the Proteus plugged into walls and computers such that it is a tripping hazard for others.
Power Adapter Care:
- Do not wrap the cable around the power adapter, as this can cause strain at the base of the cable.
- Keep the power adapter organized by using the provided Velcro strap. If your kit does not have a Velcro strap for the power adapter you can ask the store to provide you with one at no cost.
Additional Notes:
Ensure upon receiving your Proteus, and occasionally afterward, that all components received in the box have the same number labels matching the box label. When not in use, the Proteus should be stored inside the box that it came in.
