Be careful when plugging in the power adapter to the Proteus, as the port inside the Proteus can break off if too much force is used. As indicated by the following image, grasp the head of the charging cable when plugging and unplugging the power adapter.
There are three LED colors that indicate charging status of the Proteus:
- Orange light indicates the Proteus is charging
- Green light indicates the Proteus is fully charged
- Red light indicates the Proteus cannot be charged and needs to be serviced
See the following image for the location of these LEDs.
Keep in mind that the USB cable DOES NOT charge the Proteus. Only the power adapter charges the Proteus. Typical charging time from 0% to 100% charge is 3-4 hours.
