AEV Preliminary Designs

Aditya Desai Sketch: The reason my sketch was created with such minimal material was with the priority of reducing cost and creating a slim design for easier production for the mass. market.  Using the battery in the rear with the arduino in the center would help keep the AEV balanced on the track.

MacKenzie Rahwan Sketch: in my sketch, I attempted to make the AEV light and aerodynamic. I did this by making it thin and without a lot of excess parts and materials. Having these attributes would allow the AEV to be fuel efficient and allow it to get to the destinations in a timely manner.

Paige Gundermann Sketch: My sketch includes 2 propellers underneath the body, on the wings, in the rear of the AEV. The wings are angled up to increase lift and compensate for some of the weight of the battery and arduino. The battery and arduino are included on the top of the body, in the front and back to keep it balanced. The design was made with the thought of using less material to keep the cost and weight low. The design was also made to be aerodynamic and somewhat visually pleasing.

Maunil Metha Sketch: My sketch includes the propellers placed above the main body, to keep the power to push from the back and keep the propellers clear of any of the body. A wing will be kept underneath to help with stability and balance as the battery and Arduino Nano are very heavy. Square body to have enough space for all the parts.
